Subitems

On this tab you can manage the subitems of the selected composite item (style) that is going to be added to the price quote. The sub-grid can be displayed using the icon and shows all the subitems included by the style, showing the following information in the columns:

  1. Item type name: It displays the name of a particular subitem included by the item type.
  2. SKU: It displays a unique code (SKU) that identifies the subitem in PIRO Fusion.
  3. Group: It displays the item group that includes the subitem.
  4. Quantity: It displays the total quantity of the subitem included by the main item type (style).
  5. MU: It shows the measurement unit used to quantify the subitem.
  6. Price: It displays the final price per unit of the subitem.
  7. Total value: It displays the total value of the subitems included by the main item type.

A subitem can be edited by clicking on the icon. This action brings up the Edit price quote item form. The fields and settings of this form are similar to the ones on the Add price quote item dialog described above. However, a subitem can be deleted using the icon.

Services

On the Services tab the user might define the sequence of services (or workflow) necessary to produce the products requested by the customer. In case if the user selects a pre-defined service group in the Workflow drop-down on the Price quote details section, the sequence of services will be automatically loaded to the Services tab. Services can also be added manually with the Add service button. This can be used to define a custom workflow on the price quote or to insert new services to a pre-defined workflow.

The columns displayed on this panel will show the following information about the services added to the price quote:

  1. Service: It displays the name of the service.
  2. Pricing type: The pricing type of the service will be displayed in this column. There are four pricing types available:
    1. By service pricing: It allows the user to charge a custom price for the service.
    2. By service quantity pricing: If the service has to be executed multiple times on the item types, this pricing method allows the user to specify a price per execution.
    3. By items pricing: This pricing type can be used if you want to differentiate the service price depending on the type of the item the job order includes. For instance, you might set up a particular price for casting gold and another one for casting softer metals like platinum. The service prices applied to the different item types can be specified on the Prices section of the Service details form.
    4. By duration pricing: This pricing method allows the user to charge the service based on its duration by specifying a rate per hour.
  3. Quantity: It shows the number of times a particular service will be executed (in the case of By service quantity pricing) or the number of items on which the service should be performed (in the case of By items pricing).
  4. Price ($/unit): The unit price of the service will be displayed in this column. The type of the unit may vary depending on the service pricing type selected. As follows, the unit price may represent a price/service (if the pricing type is By Service pricing), price per piece (if the pricing type is By Service quantity pricing) or price per hour (if the pricing type is By duration pricing) or price per item (if the pricing type is By items pricing) .
  5. Value: It shows the total value of the service (unit price*quantity)
  6. Service assigned to: Services can be assigned to a particular user, whose username and full name will be displayed in this column.
  7. Proposed start date: Shows the estimated start date of the service taking into consideration the start date of the job order and the duration of proceeding services.
  8. Proposed finish date: Shows the proposed finish date of the service, calculated by adding its duration to the proposed start date of the service.
  9. Duration: It shows the duration of performing the service. The duration can be defined on the Service details form of a particular service or it can also be specified when the service is added to the price quote.

A service can be deleted from the price quote if the user clicks on the symbol and edited using the . Services can be moved up or down in the list with the up and down arrows.
As it has been mentioned above a new service can be added to the PQ if the user clicks the Add service button. This brings up a dialog that includes the following fields:

  1. Service: In this drop-down field the user might select from the list of the services added to PIRO Fusion the one that is going to be added to the price quote.
  2. Price: In this field the unit price of the service can be specified. It will show by default the price defined on the Service details form of the service.
  3. Finish service within: In these fields the user might specify the duration of the service. It will show by default the duration specified on the Service details form.
