This module is used to manage the service types available in PIRO Fusion. Service types are configured during the initial setup of the system. Due to PIRO Fusion’s flexibility, the entire manufacturing process can easily be charted from this module. Service types may be added and edited at any time with relevant settings to reflect the business’ expansion and changes to its production workflow. All business steps may be tracked or grouped into wider categories from this module, according to arising needs and preferences.

Services are organized into a hierarchical list. Each service has a number of settings that define how the service is routed and handled within the system.

Service types

The columns from the grid contain the following information:

1. Name: Displays the name of the service type.
2. Workstation: Displays the physical work station to which the service type belongs.
3. Pricing type: Displays the pricing method that is used for the service type.
4. Def. price: Displays the default price of the service.
5. Def. duration: Displays the service type’s default duration that is used for calculating the job order service times.
6. Work hours: Displays the work hours and work hour types.
7. Acc. JT: Displays the job types which are accepted by the service type, i.e. Price quote (PQ), Job order (JO), Casting Tree (CT).
8. More settings: Displays the icon, which can be used to bring up a separate form where the service’s inventory settings and notification & auto report related settings may be managed.

Filters

Searching for specific service types can be done through the Filters panel and using any of the available filters, according to the objective of the search.

Filters from the Services

The following filters may be used:

1. Name: Filters based on the name of the service type. Partial matches are accepted.
2. Code: Filters based on the service type code.
3. Workflow: Filters based on the selected workflow, displaying service types belonging to the specified workflow.
4. Workstation: Filters based on the work area, displaying the service types belonging to the specified physical work station.
