Workflow settings
- Enable customer category workflows: if checked, a new Customer category workflows tab is made available in Workflow Management, which can be used to set up and manage workflows that can be used on job orders with customers belonging to specific customer categories.
- Enable cancellation workflows: if checked, a new Cancellation workflows tab is made available in Workflow Management, which can be used to replace current workflows with different workflows when cancelling jobs.
- Enable workflow categories:: if checked, a new Workflow categories tab is made available in Workflow Management, which can be used to group existing workflows into categories.
- Compose job order workflow from item components workflows: if checked, job services are set up automatically based on the workflow or services set up on the job subitems.
Status change settings
- Job order status on end of routing: specifies the status of job orders once they finish processing all of their services. It is recommended to use the Closed, Finished or Finished and Paid statuses to indicate that job orders have finished their lifecycle.
- CT status on end of routing: specifies the status of casting trees once they finish processing all of their services. It is recommended to use the Finished status to indicate that casting trees have finished their lifecycle.
- Job status upon paying an invoice: specifies the status of job orders which have been invoiced and the associated invoice has been paid.
- Job status upon closing an invoice: specifies the status of job orders which have been invoiced and the associated invoice has been closed.
Inventory settings
- Default metal weight M.U.: specifies the default measurement unit used for metals.
- Allow PO generation at JO creation: if checked, when adding inventory items to the job orders, inventory quantities are validated upon creating the job and a purchase order is generated if job item quantity exceeds the available inventory quantity.
- Enable customer inventory mixing: if checked, the metal inventory quantities assigned to customers can be used on the Metal mixing form. If unchecked, only metal quantities belonging to the shop can be mixed.
- Use alloys in metal inventory and mixing: if checked, alloys can also be used when mixing metals. If unchecked, only pure metals and master alloys may be used.
- Barcode height: specifies the height of item barcodes, in centimeters.
- Metal temperature measure unit: specifies the measure unit of metal temperatures.
- Track metals in items as metal inventory: if checked, metal quantities included in finished products are also shown on the metal inventory.
- Allowed weight difference for available vs mixed weight: specifies the allowed weight difference, in grams, between the available and mixed weights on the metal inventory mixing form.
- Allow automatic PO generation: if checked, POs are generated automatically and periodically based on the contents of the Required items tab.
- Item group level access control enabled: if checked, the item groups’ inventory related roles can be accessed and managed directly at the item group level.
- Use item type prices repository: if checked, the Generate prices button is made available on the Item type action toolbar, which can be used to generate a list with the current item prices and to be used with particular reports.
- Update item quantity using the issued and returned weight difference: if checked, the item quantity is automatically calculated based on the initially introduced weight subtracted with the returned weight on the enter item weights form.
- Item SKU is unique for inventory movements: if checked, each item SKU must be unique and cannot be used more than once on inventory movements.
- Enable inventory history: if checked, adds an ‘Inventory history’ column on the Item types management grid, which may be used to display information about the item’s inventory history.
- Print QR codes on default label reports: if checked, the QR code is printed instead of the barcode on default label reports.
- Auto create variants for metal subitems with conversion rates: if checked, variants are automatically generated for all metal subitems, based on the metal subitem metal’s conversion rate (if any).
Metal management settings
- Default Gold 24K Markup: specifies the default markup added to the base 24K gold market price.
- Default Platinum Markup: specifies the default markup added to the base Platinum market price.
- Default Palladium Markup: specifies the default markup added to the base Palladium market price.
- Default Fine Silver Markup: specifies the default markup added to the base Fine Silver market price.
- Default item weight: specifies the default item weight used when adding job items.
- Metal manager loss max limit: specifies the maximum acceptable metal weight percentage that can be lost during processing. Typically, there is some metal loss as a result of processing. The loss percentage represents the difference between the metal weight before processing and the metal weight after processing.
- Default oven temp: specifies the default operating temperature of the ovens (represented in degrees Celsius).
- Casting tree thickness selection is mandatory for CTs: if checked, the Casting Tree thickness is mandatory and must be specified when creating Casting Trees.
