Custom metal prices can be set up for a customer category from the Metal markups tab of the Customer category details form. The value of the markup will be added to the price of the specified metal items on job orders created for customers from this category.
Metal markups
Tthe Add button or the 
icon can be used to add new markups. This will bring up the Add metal markup form, where the following information can be specified:
Add metal markup
- Metal type: specifies the metal type of the metal for which the markup will be applied.
- Metal: specifies the metal for which the markup will be applied.
- Markup: specifies the value of the markup.
- Type: specifies the type of markup that will be applied. Relative markups increase the price of the metal by the percentage specified in the ‘Markup’ field. Absolute markups increase the price of the metal by the value specified in the ‘Markup’ field. The fixed price option is used to specify a fixed price for the metal that will be used regardless of metal price fluctuations. The fixed price is specified in the ‘Markup’ field.
