In order to set up an attribute based price list for an item group, you first have to set up attribute based pricing for individual attributes.
Custom attributes management -> Custom attribute list details -> Pricing & Unit amount calculation settings -> ‘Allow attribute based pricing’

Assigning an attribute based price list to an item group may be done from: Item groups management -> Item group details form / General section -> Group has custom attributes -> Custom attributes list – > ‘Manage attribute based prices’ .
When an item group has an assigned custom attribute list, you may use the ‘Manage attribute based prices’ button to open the attribute based price list’s form.

In order to create an attribute based price list, type the price list name and use the + icon. However, if you want to delete an existing attribute based price list, select it from the dropdown list and use the red cross icon.

Creating new attribute based price list

The price list’s grid contains an overview of the attribute based price lists set up on item groups having attribute based pricing enabled. This grid allows easily managing and adjusting the attribute values, costs, prices and enabling or disabling reorder levels. Each row in the grid allows setting up a specific price and cost for a specific attribute value. You can add a new row to price list using the Add button.The following information is available in the grid:

Attribute based price list

1. Attribute(s): Multiple columns are generated for attributes contained in the attribute list with attribute based pricing enabled. Each individual attribute is displayed in its own column where the attribute value may be specified.
2. Cost: Sets the cost of the item group for the given attribute values.
3. Change %: Sets percentage difference between the cost and the price. Modifying the ‘Change %’ automatically recalculates the price by adding the Change % to the cost.
4. Price: Sets the price of the item group for the given attribute values. Modifying the Price automatically recalculates the Change %.
5. Allow Reorder level: Enables or disables reorder levels for the item group having the corresponding attributes.
6. Delete: Deletes the price of the item group for the given attribute values (the entire row).

The number and names of the available filters vary but match the price list’s attributes having attribute based pricing enabled.
