Metal inventory mixing
- Show only available items: if checked, the Show only available items option is checked by default on the Metal inventory mixing form, and only metals with quantities greater than zero are listed as mixing components. If unchecked, all metals defined in the system are listed as mixing components, regardless of their available quantities.
Add job to invoice
- Add job to invoice method: specifies the method used by default to invoice job items. Two options are available: Scan – used to scan the job barcode(s) and Select – the job(s) can be selected from a list.
Casting tree detail
- Route tree into first service: if checked, upon creating a Casting Tree, the casting tree is automatically routed into the first service.
- Auto create CB from CT: if checked, a casting batch is automatically created from the casting tree.
Reject job
- Default reject option: specifies the rejection method selected by default when rejecting jobs. Three options are available:
- Repeat service: repeats the current service.
- Reject to previous service: the job is rejected into a previous service.
- Move to On hold Location: the job is moved to an ‘On hold location’ service.
Job order
- Move from job service queue: determines which tab is selected by default when on the Move jobs form which is brought up when moving jobs from the Job Service queue.
- Search for job orders: determines whether partial matches are also displayed, or only exact matches are accepted when searching for job orders using the Search button from the Job service queue.
Non-JO item dialog
- Pre-select JO item type: if checked, the first item type from the JO belonging to item groups assigned to the corresponding service are selected by default on the non-JO item form.
- Check for weight difference on non-job item dialog: if checked, a comparison will be made between the metal weight received from the previous service and the metal weight entered on the non-JO item form. If the difference is higher than the allowed limit, a warning message is displayed and the service cannot be moved until the weight is adjusted.
- Allowed weight difference (%): specifies the allowed weight difference (in percentages) used on the non-JO item form.
